PTCL leading DSL provider in the countary has said that the DSL customers will be charged Rs. 5,000 if they exceed the 300 GB limit in the month removing 50 GB limit per month.
This means that the DSL customers will not charged Rs. 1,000 per month for exceeding 50 GB limit but will be charged Rs. 5,000 per month on exceeding 300 GB limit.
This is said on the PTCL website:
“For Quality Assurance Purposes and to provide uninterrupted service to all customers, Rs. 5,000 per month will be charded for greater than 300 GBs downloads. This is applicable on 1 Mbps to 8 Mbps Connections”
This extra charging on 300 GB cap is applicable on 1Mbps, 2Mbps, 4Mbps, 6Mbps and 6Mbps packages. It is not applicable on 10Mbps, 20Mbps and 50Mbps packages.
