Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is planning to organize international events in different countries for attracting international telecom giants in the bidding of 3G/4G licence sheduled to be held on March 29th this year.
PTA has decided to organize the events for investors and telecom operators in Singapore and Dubai in the next week. All arrangements have been done in this regard with proper allocation of money and supportof the government.
The event is more important for PTA as it is a one-to-one meeting for with officials of leading telecom operators, said by a official of PTA. Moreover he said that we are working harder to ensure to attract 10-12 number of big telecom operators in the licence auction.
PTA has sent Information Memorandum (IM) t foreign telecom operators for sharing them policies of the country, economy and business situation of the telecom sector.
