Telenor Pakistan is going to increase service charges on card recharge/easy-loads to 7 percent, available on telenor website.
New service charges will be applicable from Feb 15th, 2012.
“Dear Customer, kindly note that the surcharge being deducted from recharge will increased to 7 % with effect from 15th February 2012”.
Carges/Taxes on Rs. 100 Card (for Telenor Customer after February 15th):
- Withholding Tax is 10 % = Rs. 10
- Service Charges are 7 % = Rs. 7
- GST on remaining amount of Rs. 83 is 19.5 percent = Rs. 16.19
- Total Taxes + Service Charges = 33.19
So with Rs. 100 card you will get only Rs. 66.81 for telecom services while remaining amount goes under head of taxes, service charges.
