Maxh Xtreme (MX Technology) announced its new affordable MX-STARTER PREMIUM Series solod state drive for mainstream consumers, offering improved performance than the original MX-STARTER. The new series is based on MLC NAND flash and comes in 2.5-inch form factor with SATA II interface. It has 64MB DDR2 cache memory.
The MX-STARTER PREMIUM delivers up to 220MB/s read and 110MB/s write speeds with a max 10,000 IOPS performance. The SSD supports TRIM command and Gargage Collection, and comes with built-in ECC function for data reliability. There are 32GB (MXSSD2MSTP-32GB), 64GB (MXSSD2MSTP-64G and 128GB (MXSSD2MSTP-128G) capacities.
