PTCL has launched a new and exiting offer for its customers with Free WiFi modem on buying new broadband connection. 1Mbps package charges are also revised.
With an increase in proliferation of WiFi enables tabs, mobile phones and gadgets. It is becoming necessary to have a WiFi modem or router for connectivity needs.
Package Details:
1 Mbps Broadband:
- Rs. 1,250 per month
- Provisioning of free WiFi modem
Note: New charges applies only on new broadband customers only will be aplicable from March 5, 2012.
- Exiting 1Mbps customers will continue to pay Rs. 1,199 per month
- WiFi modems will be provided to new customers of all packages excluding 256Kbps and 1Mbps Students package, and there will be no monthly recurring charges
- All exciting subscribers irrespective of their packages will be charges Rs. 750 as modem up-gradation charges, and their package charges will remain as per policy
- Exiting WiFi customers will continue to pay as per existing policy
- Bundle packages (Double Up and Double impact etc.) and triple-play services will be provided free of cost WiFi modem upon installation and there will be no monthly recurring charges
