Branchless Banking in Pakistan witnessed another quarter (Sep-Dec 2011 )with impressive growth on all fronts, the most prominent being the remarkable growth of Branchless Banking (BB) accounts and transactions.
Reports said that the number of transactions per day registered 30 percent growth to Rs. 228,855 from Rs, 176,296 in July-September 2011. The report said the average number of transactions per month has increased to 7 million worth Rs. 27 billion. Similarly, the average size of transaction was Rs. 3,855.
