PTCL recently held a fun-filled family gala for its employees at the HQs building in Islamabad at the conclusion of its painting extravaganza on “Energy Conservation for Future Generations”.
Renowned artists Mr. Jamal Shah, Mr. Abbass Shah and Mrs. Nahida Raza atended the event as guests of honor and judges for 1st, 2nd 3rd prizes and one best painting selected from amongst hundred of paintings.
The family gala was also attended by PTCL President & CEO, Mr. Waleed Irshad, Senior Executive Vice President HR, Mr. SyedMazhar Hussain and other senior officials.
Live music and poetry performances, as well as an on-the spot- painting competition brought much excitement to the ecent. Food and cultural stalls gave it a festive look and feel.
A prize distribution ceremony was also held to award the top three paintings with a cash prize of Rs. 40,000 for each winner. The winners were selected from 40 short-listed paintings from all regions for the final event of the ‘Painting Extravaganza’. A total of 500 paintings originally were submitted by PTCL emplyees and their families from all over Pakistan to participate in the competition.
PTCL’s employees along with their families enjoyed he colorful display of paintings and participated in the fun filed activities with fervor.
