CJ Directs PTA to Block ‘Vulgar Ads’ of Cellular Companies | InfoZonePK

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Ch. on Tuesday directed the PTA chairman to stop the showing of vulgar advertisements of phone companies on television.

The CJ issued these remarks while hearing a lottery case. He said all lotteries associated with gambling where unislamic. During the hearing, he said, “We think that several advertisements of phone companies are vulgar and shameful, and they cannot be watched while sitting with families. It dows not matter how much modern we have become, but we cannot ignore moral values.”

CJ directed the PTA chairman to strictly monitor ads of cellular companies and stop running of vulgar advertisements.
