Excise and Taxation Department of Sindh has launched an online portal for verification of vehicles in Sindh, including Karachi.
It can be accessed here.
But there are some security concern on this portal as you will enter the Vehicle No. and portal will return you with sufficient information about your vehicle. It is a privacy invasion and this information can be misused.
Punjab has also its online vehicle verification system that can be accessed here.
