RunCore introduces the Rocket Air SSD, its latest consumer-grade SSD for Ultrabooks and Macbooks Air as well as other super slim notebooks. The blade-style Rocket Air has a ultra slim form factoe that looks more like a RAM. It is based on Tier 1 TOggle Synchronous that looks flash with SandForce controller and uses SATA III 6Gbps interface for faster transfer rate.
The Rocket Air comes in 120GB and 240GB capacities and offers over 500MB/s read and over 300MB/s write speeds. It supports 128-bit AES data encryption and Wear Leveling for enhanced endurance as well as TRIM command. RunCore’s offering is compatiable with mid-2011 MacBOoks Air and offers nearly 4x the capacity of the original factiry SSDs.
