Qubee is Pakistan’s 4th WiMAX operator whch has been successfully providing uninterrupted broadband services in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad & Rawalpindi since July 2010. Today, the broadband service provider is effectively executing its billing cycle (information circulation, collection & record keeping) in a paperless fashion for the past 6 months, thanks to the cooperation of its progressive & loyal customer bases.
Manager Marketing Communication of Qubee, Numan Shamim said, “Nearly 24 trees are consumed to produce 1 ton of paper (depending on the quality & grameage), which when shipped translates into approximate 40 cartons of paper for office/regular consumption. Effective February 1st, 2012, Qubee has been trying to reduce its impact on the environment by limiting paper based wastage.”
He further said that, “This is the first step in this direction and we are evaluating other opportunity areas so the same.”
