Punjab Govt and Google Collaborated to Start ‘Innovation Punjab Policy’

Govt of Punjab has shifted its entire focus on the youth related policies. The buzz started with Punjab Laptop scheme up till now, the entire team of CM Shahbaz Sharif is developing various plans to somehow involve the flavour of technology in every field.

Punjab Govt in collaboration with Google has officially introduced the Punjab Innovation Policy. An even was held at Arfa Technology Park-Lahore where all stake holders were invited to witness the announcement of Innovation Punjab Policy.

On the behalf of Punjab Government, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has managed all the affairs of Innovation Punjab Policy.

PITB is working as front line of Shahbaz Sharif who introduced it in his earlier tenure back in 1998 when as head of the province, Shahbaz Sharif made an agreement with Oracle Corporation for the spread of technology education in Punjab Province.

Yesterday, another giant, Google Inc, signed an agreement with Government of Punjab for making the lives of people as easy as possible through the introduction of modern techniques and state of the art solutions.

According to a report, the agenda of this Innovation Punjab Policy is to use Information Technology to enable citizens to benefit from better public service, access to information and network across the province.
