PTA has given a final warning to all CNIC holders to check and verify all the SIMs that you are using and disown all those SIMs that are you not using of your and your loved ones.
The Final Warning issued by PTA stats:
“Your happiness and the smiles on the faces of your loved ones are very dear things to Ministry of Interior, PTA and the cellular industry of Pakistan. However there are few steps that you must take yourself to ensure that you and your family do not get punished for a crime that you have not been a part of. You must this at very moment.”
Step to follow this method are:
- Send your CNIC number is a Free SMS to 668 and find out how many SIMs per operator are registered in your name
- Immediately visit the customer service center or franchise or call the helpline or UAN of the respective cellular company with your original CNIX and inform their representative about the number that you wish to retain. They will block all other SIMs expect your own

This is a very small effort that can safeguard our loved ones from the trauma of an undeserved penalty.
