Beware! UBL Spam Email is in Circulation | InfoZonePK

A spam email indicating itself as it is from UBL is in circulated and being received onUBL-Logo different email ID’s which enquirers users for their login credentials. UBL has explicitly denied having any connection to UBL spam email and are educating customers to beaware of such fraudulent email.

Even by using the denied message from UBL, some emails are being received in which this is written as it is from UBL and there is a link given for confirmation of login details which is actually a spam and leads to enter your login information. You can see the address in the web browser’s address bar to confirm that this is actually a spam.

This email contains a link to click on it which directs to a webpage that looks like the UBL Netbaking’s webpage. It may become dangerous for any non technical customer of UBL that he/she may enter the username/password and the information would be hacked so UBL customers can lose their money.

The interesting thing about this mail is that it is received from the address that is ending in ‘@ubl.com’. This made the user to think that it is a genuine request.

On this dangerous spam emails and to protect its customers from damage, UBL has issued a circular, warning their customers. The official website link for UBL Netbanking is https://www.ubldirect.com and when it is logon then UBL turns to green written on web browser’s address which indicates that the website is official. In fact it uses the SSL certificate which makes the website more secure.
