Wateen Telecom as the largest WiMax services provider in Pakistan has announced its 
support for Pakistan cricket by sponsoring the “Best Domestic Bowler” category award, at the recently ehld first ever PCB awards. Up and coming talented cricketer Zulfiqar Babar was presented this award by Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed (Picture is shown below). Zulfiqar Babar is a highly talented slow left arm orthodox bowler and has been consistently performing well at the domestic level.
Speaking about the supporting Pakistan cricket, Mr. Naeem Zamindar, CEO Wateen Telecom said, “Wateen Telecom believes that cricket is something unites our nation like nothing else. Our youth possesses immense cricketing talent and it is important to support the game at the domestic level. We admire Pakistan Cricket Board’s efforts in recognizing and promoting our national cricketing talent.”
The award ceremony was held at a local hotel with the Pakistan Cricket team and a number of dignitaries from all walks of life in attendance.
