Ufone and Taazi.com collaborate to provide web-based platform to musicians to show their talent.
Ufone is partnering with Unicorn Black to launch Taazi.com, a web-based platform for digital content such as music, videos, artist-related news updates, ringtones and more.
The purpose of this collaboration is providing Pakistan’s first web-based platform that allows emerging and seasoned musicians a chance to showcase their talents and retain intellectual property rights. It is also one of the first major anti-piracy initiatives in the country which awards 60% sale royalties to the artist as opposed to the normal 25%.
You can now create a free profile on Taazi.com and search for your favorite musicians and listen to songs either by streaming or by purchasing the song. You will also be able to upload, promote and sell your own content as well as download and view content from other users. The premium content will be available only for Ufone customers to purchase and download. That’s not all because the website will also have social networking features allowing you to interact with your favorite musicians and artists.
