Lamudi.pk conducted a conference in Karachi last week which was attended by: real estate agents, developers, media personnel, and dignified guest speakers.
This conference was hosted with respect to a White Paper, which Lamudi launched last week on: “The State of Real Estate in Emerging Markets.” The report is based on a series of online surveys conducted amongst real estate agents, developers, and house-hunters and offers an extensive report on the future of real estate in Pakistan.
This white paper was a roaring success at the conference with the media and real estate agents actively participating in discussing its findings. Moreover, the guest speakers consisting of: Muhammad Hanif Memon, Vice Chairman of Association of Builders & Developers (ABAD), Muhammad Hassan Bakhshi, Regional Chairman of Southern Region of ABAD, Raza, Head of Consumer Banking of Meezan Bank, Imran Wasi, CEO of Investor’s World, Imtiaz, Sports Secretary of Defence & Clifton Association of Real Estate Agents (DEFCLAREA) and Jawwad Khan, CEO of THBC and the official bronze sponsor also supported its findings at the conference.
The conference kick started with Country Director, Saad Arshed’s, presentation on the White Paper, followed by an interactive question and answer session. After this, the six Guest Speakers came and delivered their speeches and presentations, which was then followed by a Real Estate Panel. It all ended with a scrumptious Hi-Tea and networking session.
Saad Arshed, says: “The White Paper Conference was a huge hit and helped to establish Lamudi’s credibility as a real estate brand with an in-depth knowledge of the property market.
The research finding which we highlighted that there is a dire need of low-cost housing schemes, was noted by ABAD which then announced such units worth, Rs.300 billion. Hence, we look forward to write more of such research papers and hosting more of such conferences.”
