Zong, Pakistan’s most advancedand only 3G & 4G telecom operator was awarded recently with International Communication Technology (ICT) Award 2015 by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI)for Excellence in Telecommunication.
RCCI organized these ICT Awards (International Communication Technology Awards) for the first time to promote and highlight the efforts of individuals and companies striving towards excellence within the arena of information technology and communications.The award ceremony was organized with the support of RCCI, Pakistan Software Houses Association and Pakistan Software Export Board.
The decision to present this awardto Zong was based on the telecom operator’s active and successful adaptation of international communication technology since the 3G & 4G auction held last year.
Present at the occasion, Niaz A Malik Chief Corporate Sales Officer (CCSO)Zong said that “Zong is currently the fastest growing network in the country and has always been at the front in terms of taking initiatives and introducing new technologies. This award is a strong source of encouragement for us, and we will remain committed to contributing with excellence to the telecommunication arena for the betterment of the country.” He furthermore expressed gratitude towards the RCCI for holding merit based awards to encourage stakeholders within the telecommunication sector.
