The National Incubation Center Karachi (NIC Karachi) successfully hosted the Pakistan Investor Summit 2026 – 13th Edition, a two-day flagship initiative that brought together startups, investors, venture capitalists, business leaders, industry representatives, and national and international ecosystem experts to strengthen investment opportunities and strategic collaboration within Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem.

The summit offered a structured platform for meaningful investor-startup engagement, providing entrepreneurs with opportunities to present their ventures, receive expert feedback, explore funding prospects, and build relationships with potential investors and strategic partners.

Over the course of two days, the summit delivered a structured experience designed to maximize value for both startups and investors. The first day featured startup pitching sessions, where ventures from NIC Karachi Cohort 14 and Cohort 15 presented their business ideas to a curated panel of investors, showcasing high-potential and scalable solutions while gaining direct exposure to funding opportunities and expert feedback. The summit also included dedicated one-on-one investor office-hour sessions, enabling startups to engage in deeper discussions with investors, explore potential deals, and receive tailored insights in a more personalized setting. These interactions facilitated meaningful connections and opened pathways for potential investment and future collaboration.

The second day was held at ITCN Asia, bringing together a wider national and international audience of investors, technology leaders, business representatives, and ecosystem stakeholders. The programme included an Investor Fireside Chat, focused on Pakistan’s investment landscape from the perspective of experienced investors and business leaders, as well as a Startup Showcase, where six startups presented their business ideas, growth potential, and market opportunities to investors and other stakeholders.

Speaking at the summit, Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director, NIC Karachi, said, “The Pakistan Investor Summit reflects our continued commitment to building a strong and connected investment ecosystem in Pakistan. By creating structured opportunities for engagement between startups and investors, we are not only facilitating access to capital but also enabling knowledge exchange, mentorship, and longterm partnerships. The quality of startups and the depth of investor interest we witnessed this year reaffirm that Pakistan’s innovation landscape is evolving with strength and purpose.”

The summit featured an impressive lineup of national and international speakers, including Baybars Altuntas, Chairman, World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF); Areiel Wolanow, Managing Director, Finserv Experts; Dr. Wael Eldesouki Bedda of SKSEED; Faysal Ghauri, Chief Digital Officer at Tracking; and Kashif Ul Haque, Country Head, Cisco Pakistan. Their participation brought international perspectives and industry expertise to discussions on investment, entrepreneurship, technology, digital transformation, and business growth.

As part of the summit, four separate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the National Incubation Center Karachi and each of the following partners: Saleh Kamel Sustainable Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development Organization (SKSEED), Karachi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KWCCI) Korangi, UK Pakistan Tech Forum and Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Forum. The partnerships aim to provide startups with greater access to mentorship, industry connections, technical infrastructure, and entrepreneurial learning opportunities.

The summit concluded with remarks by Zameer Abbas, Secretary IT, Gilgit-Baltistan, who underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration among government, industry, investors, academia, and entrepreneurs to unlock the potential of Pakistan’s technology and innovation ecosystem.

The Pakistan Investor Summit 2026 reinforced the growing importance of structured investor-startup engagement in Pakistan, providing a platform to discover high-potential ventures, explore early- and growth-stage investment opportunities, foster strategic partnerships, and connect local innovation with national and international investment networks.
