Default port for Remote Desktop listens on port 3389 (TCP). It is easy to change the port by following steps.
Open Start Menu and click Run and type REGEDIT
Automatically open Registry Editor
Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click on SYSTEM
Click on CURRENTCONTROLSET
Click on CONTROL
Click on TERMINAL SERVER
Click on WINSTATION
Finally Click on RDP-TCP
Open the PortNumber subkey.
Pick the Decimal Base option.
Enter the new port number, and then click Ok.
Then restart the system.
To connect to a different port than the default 3389 RDP port, speciafy the port using one of the following formats:
<computername>:75530
<ip address>:<port>
example: 192.168.20.1:75530
