Ufone GSM a favorite cellular company in Pakistan is aiming for 3G licence and it is a best place to get 3G licence as Etisalat is at its back. Etisalat has this edge of holding USD 800 dollars from PTCL’s sale which it can now lend back to government of Pakistan to get 3G licence.
During an interview with a high-up Ufone will definitely go for 3G by saying “There is no other option. Exact value of licence will be determined on March 29th. In January we can only speculate while considering low ARPUs I hope it doesn’t go too high“, the official said.
