SanDisk X100 SSD has been launched for client computing market. The X100 is available in a variety of form factors, including 1.5 inches with 7mm or 9.5mm hight, mSATA and customized thin form factor for ultra slim notebooks.
The X100 is based on MLC NAND Flash and uses SATA III 6Gbps interface for enhanced performance. It offers up to 500MB/s read and 420MB/s write performance, allowing user to copy a 4GB HD movie in less than 10 seconds. The X100 is available in 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities and SanDisk offers a wide variety of configuration options, including standalone and dual drive caching solutions.
