Panasonic announced in Europe its newest ELUGA waterproof smartphone, which is the company’s first smartphone for Erurope. With a ultra slim design and ergonomic curved-edge shape, the Android device is IP57 certified that it is able to immersed into water at a depth of up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and is dustproof. It is powered by a dual-core TI 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with future upgrade to Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The ELUGA sports a 4.3 inches capacities 960x540OLED touchscreen and with super-thin frame, the phone offers a 66% display area ratio, which is the largest on the market.
