PTCL Revenues Up 7% in 1st Half FY2012 | InfoZonePK

PTCL ha posted a net profit after tax of Rs. 2.84 billion in its half-year earning made during FY2012 for the period ending December 31st, thats 29 percent lower than Rs. 4.02 billion. earned in the same period in 2010.

However, PTCL’s net revenue rose to Rs. 28.1 billion, showing a growth of 7% over the same period during previous financial year.

In a KSE notice, it is said that during 1HFY12, PTCL costs of services grew by more than eight percent, while company’s administrative expances grew by 12.14 percent, whereas selling and marketing expenses come down by nearly 2 percent in 1HFY12.

Earning per share (EPS) stood at Rs. 0.56 against Rs. 0.79 in 2010, the KSE notice said. Earning didn’t include dividend from Ufone.

PTCL CEO, Waleed Irshad said that, “PTCL’s profit and revenue growth during first half of FY2011-12 is a strong indicator of our dnamic  corporate direction as well as our customer’s continued satisfactin and trust.”
