Apple could be facing problems with its new iPad (3) with reports on Apple’s official discussion forum that the tablet device is overheating after a fairly short period of use.
Although some reports suggest that the new iPad would run hotter than its predecessor thanks largely to the power-hungry display screen, some complaints lean towards a more fundamental issue with the tablet.
There are now 130 comments on the Apple discussion forum talking about the issue, with comments mainly suggesting that one side of the tablet gets noticeably hot after about 30 minutes of use.
One complaint even suggested that when using the tablet with LTE services it can get uncomfortably hot.
At the moment, Apple has not officially responded to the complaints.
