Mobilink provided the PTA Chairman with a live demonstration of the Customer Cerification Process, which works in conjunction with the records of “National Data Base and Registration Authority” (NADRA)
The visiting PTA officials appreciated the efficient execution of this initiative and expressed their satisfaction with Mobilink’s system efficacy that is designed to respond to a customer’s request and activate SIM in very short time.
Dr. Muhammad Yaseen, Chairman PTA emphazsized; “This is another great milestone for the telecom industry of Pakistan, to implement a comprenhsive & automated system which ensures safely and peace of mind for the subscribers, by securing the telecom networks from unauthentic customer credentials. Mobilink has always proactively risen to challenges and been a key enabler of PTA’s progressive reforms”.
Agha Qasim, Vice President Corporate Affairs, Mobilink added; “I am glad that we have been able to swiftly enable this critical system of verification, sale and activation of new SIMs. I would request our customers to purchase their SIMs only from the Authorized Sales Outlets in order to enjoy a higher level of security and seamless connectivety from their Mobilink connections.”
This initiative will serve as a giant leap towards an automated data verification process, which will minimize human interventation and data errors. The system has been advised by PTA for implementation in all the cellular companies working in Pakistan.
