Zong Hike Operational Fee from 1.5% to 2% | InfoZonePK

Zong has announced that it will charge 2% operational fees from APril 10, which is 1.5% at present being deducted along with 19.5% GST on every recharge of balance/load.

The overal operational fee will be deducted Rs. 2.39 on Rs. 100 recharge instead of Rs. 1.79, which means the hike of 60 paisas or 33.5 %.

Zong officially informed its customer that “Dear Customers in order to improve our services from April 10th, Operational fee on all recharges being increased from 1.5 percent to 2 percent, (Govt taxes apply).”

The fee will be deducted in addition to 5 percent service charges and 10 percent withholding tax imposed by the cellular operators and government.

Earlier, Telenor and Ufone increased the rate of their maintenance service charges in the past two months. Mobilink has alread increased operational fee in November 2011 on reload of balance for its prepaid customers.
