Apple has started to loses its legal battle against Samsung’s Android devices. A US court has given indications that it has no intention of blocking sales of Samsung devices as Apple requested. Apple is trying to build its case on mirror or insignificant software/design patents such as ‘snap-back’. Apple claims that it is losing customers due to these infringements. Reuters reports that “Judge William Bryson on Friday asked about hypothetical case in which an automaker copied the design of a cupholder from a second automaker. Under Apple’s argument, if the second automaker later lost market share. It could ask for an injunction against sales by the first automaker, Bryson said.”
