A MoU was signed by Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and the LUMS. V Shankar, member of the Board, SCB PLC and CEO-Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas and Syed Babar Ali, Pro-Chancellor, LUMS signed the agreement.
SCB’s aim to sign this deal is to donate Rs. 9.6 million to support less-privileged students for a period of 4 years. SCB introduced a scholarship programe for less-privileged students and allies with various established non-profits across the country in order to support students to persist their education after Matriculation.
