War between Zong and Warid has been reportedly intensifying in the sector for catching up maximum customers to maintain their position on sustainable basis in the future.
The race started in the sector after Zong surpassed the subscribers base of Warid by February with constant growth in subsciption particularly in the past two year in which the Chinese based operators booked maximum numbers of subscribers.
In January 2012, Zong stood with 14.42 million subscribers and Warid showed its users upp to 14.99 million.
Warid was leading with 566,544 subscribers while maintaining its forth position in terms of subscribers base.
In February 2012, Zong stood 14.95 million subscribers and Warid users declined to reach at 14.69 million.
Zong is now leading with 258,173 connections while attaining forth position from fifth.
