In the meeting of high officials of law enforcement agency, it has been decided to strictly ban the usage of mobile phones in the kails of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Now prisoners and all jail staff are not allowed to use mobile phones even help out to bring themobile phones for prisoners and also for the official to call.
Decision has been taken by the Inspector General Police of Jail Khan Jat of KPK in the meeting where other police high officials were also present.
The objective of this decision is to provide safeguard and prevent the future instances, previously e all know that Taliban had firmly attacked the Bannu Jail and released all prisoners. In the time of massive strike of Taliban,, sufficient Jail staff was not present on the spot to efend the attack.
Inspector General Police of Jail Khana Jay of KPK further disclosed that heavy punishment will be awarded in case of violence.
Previously it as decided to place Mobile Phone Jammers in KPK Jails by PTA, but it has not been implemented yet.
