Google Chrome has done it again and is now the most used web browser on the planet, taking the crown from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.
The news comes from StatCounter, whose measurements for May reveale that CHrome finally managed to pull ahead of its rival.
This isn’t the first time Chrome has replaced IE as the world’s most used web browser. Back on March 18 Google’s web browser managed to sneak up in front of IE, but that only lasted a few days.
Chrome’s first place naturally comes at IE’s expense, but the results show that Firefox is also suffering losses in its user base. Safari and Opera continue to occupy the fourth and fifth places respectively, some way off the pace.
