Belkin introduces its upgraded Thunderbolt Express Dock for Mac and Windows notebooks users. First announced at the CES 2012, the dock has been upgraded to includes USB 3.0 ports and eSATA port.

Basically, the Thunderbolt dock is device that sit between your notebook and peripherals, allowing you to connect to up to 9 desktop peripherals with just on cable. With the dock, your notebook can be transition from a desktop workstation to a mobile device in seconds and you can get a cleaner working environment.

The Thunderbolt is a newest high-speed interface that movesdata on two bidirectional 10GB channels, offering speeds up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0 and 12 times faster than Firewire 800. Belkin’s Thunderbolt Express Dock (model F4U055) has two Thunderbolt ports, one upstream and one downstream for daisy-chaining up to 6 additional Thunderbolt devices. It provides three USB 3.0, a FireWire 800, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, an eSATA, a 3.5mm output, a 3.5mm input ports and comes with a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. The dock has a simple and low profile design.
