According to a report of Nielsen it has been cleared the Android rules the US market with majority of 51% while Apple follows it at 34%. Blackberry is the third largest Smartphone platform in the US with only 9%. Others like Windows Mobile, Windows Phone 7, Symbian and Palm OS have minority with 3%, 1.3%, 0.9%, 0.6% respectively.
