Mr. Rehman Malik, Interior Minister of Pakistan has hinted that Government of
Pakistan can open the YouTube in Pakistan only if blasphemous videos are get blocked.
Pakistan has blocked the YouTube on September 17, 2012 after blasphemous videos had been published on YouTube.
YouTube has blocked the blasphemous videos in several countries including Libya, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and India, however, it did not blocked in Pakistan in response to which government has decided to block the entire website though all country wide ISPs.
Pakistani Government through PTA has requested to YouTube management to block such videos in Pakistan but all such requests were not entertained.
