Mobile Phone Service to Remain Suspended During Long March of Tahir-ul-Qadri | InfoZonePK

PTA has directed to cellular operators in Pakistan to suspended the mobile phoneLongMarch service in account of Long March held by Fr. Tahir-ul-Qadri.

The mobile service is suspended almost from evening today in Lahore and it will be remain suspended during the route of Long March.

Currently the service is suspended in below mentioned areas of Lahore:

  • Share-e-Quaid-e-Azam
  • Garhi Shaho
  • Dharampura
  • New Campus (PU)
  • Model Town
  • Ichra
  • Noulakha
  • Do Moria Pull
  • Minar-e-Pakistan
  • Ravi Bridge
  • Shahdra Mor
  • Imamia Colony

Mobile Phone is the above mentioned areas of Lahore will be remain suspended till further orders from PTA. Mobile phone service will be suspended in coming hours on the routes of Long March that will be updated by PTA as long as the Long March goes to its way and mobile phone service will be suspended in those areas and regions.

The Long March organized by the president Tehreek-e-Minhajul-Quran, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri that is on the way from Lahore to Islamabad.

According to PTA’s directive to cellular operators that they will be responsible to curtail the spillover signal from all cell sites during the Long March.

Further it is also a report that mobile service will remain suspended for three hours 7PM-10PM in Clifton, Karachi. It is said that this service suspension is due to some security reasons in Clifton.
