Huawei has announced its first Windows Phone 8 the Ascend W1 at CES 2013. The Ascend W1 is a mid-range Windows Phone with a “visually iconic design inspired by a tropical island”.

The complete specifications of Ascend W1 are as follows:

  • 1950mAh battery that provides a super long 479 hours of standby time and 630 minutes of 3G talk time
  • Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 MSM8230 dual-core 1.2GHz processor with Adreno 350 GPU
  • 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage with microSD/SDHC memory card support
  • 4-inch 480×800 iPS LCD touchscreen display with OGS technology
  • 5 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 0.3 Megapixel front-facing camera
  • Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity
  • Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system with Live Tiles and real updates features

Huawei has currently released the phone this month in China and Russia. It will be released in Westren Europe, Middle East, USA and other selected countries later.
