Warid Telecom a cellular company in Pakistan owned by Abu Dhabi Group sold 30 
percent of its shares to Singtel a foremost telecom company of Singapore. Now Warid Telecom has acquired back the complete stakes from Singtel and deal in matured in response to pay back US $150 million to Singtel. Further a 7.5% share of proceeds from any future sale or public offering of Warid Telecom.
A statement was issued by the company in which it was said that with 100 ownership in Warid Telecom, this strategic decision will allow the Group to have a more focused approach as Warid enters its 8th year of operations in Pakistan.
