Samsung introduces two new entry-level smartphones the Galaxy Young and the Galaxy Fame. As the Galaxy line of Samsung is most successful product and to keep it rolling. Both of the smartphones use Samsung’s signature Galaxy design with clean lines, and are intended for younger generation of mobile users and first time smartphone users.
Both of the Young and Fame are powered by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. with TouchWiz. Young comes with 768MB of RAM and Fame comes with 512MB of RAM.
The Galaxy Young sports a 3.27-inch HVGA touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS/AGPS, WiFi 802.11n.
On the other hand the Galaxy Fame features a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11n and NFC.
The two new entry-level Galaxy handsets both have 4GB of onboard storage and their microSD slot supports up to 64GB card. They will also available in Dual-SIM models with the Always On feature so user can use two mobile numbers at a time and never miss a call. One of the SIM card slots will supports 2G network.
The Galaxy Young wil be available in white, deep blue, wine and metallic silver, and the Galaxy Fame comes in pearl white and metallic blue.
The price of both smartphones is not yet announced but it is expected according to Pakistani market its price would be below Rs. 20K.
