Wateen Telecom, a leading WiMax services provider company in Pakistan arranged a
seminar in collaboration with Cisco Pakistan on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi. The seminar titled “Technology Awareness Session” was arranged in order to bring forward the accessible that unified communications can offer, allowing their business partners to optimize their productivity, achieve their goals and and at the same time reducing costs and improving management.
GM EBU Wateen Telecom, Mr. Hamid Mohuddin initiated the seminar by highlighted the requirement of a “Digitalized Pakistan” and Wateen’s role in making this dream a reality. Channel Manager Cisco Pakistan, Mr. Baber Shahbaz, followed the address by informing the attendees about Cisco’s new initiatives of Cloud Computing and Big data. Head of Products Wateen, Mr. Syed Muhammad Kashif, presented Wateen Telecom’s portfolio, understanding the unique skill-set of service Wateen Telecom possesses and is capable of proving to all of its customers.
The event was attended by representatives from Bank Alfalah, Citi Bank, National Bank of Pakistan, KASB Bank, Bank Al Habib, PIA, KSE, United Bank, State Life Insurance, NIFT, KICTL, Pak Suzuki, Liaqat National Hospital, SSGC & DHA City Consultants. The seminar was appreciated by the attendees and they commented it as a good gesture and a better way of simultaneous increasing awareness of the problem s at hand and promoting their services.
