Sony launched the new Xperia SP smartphone, bringing its premium design to a mid-range device. Not only design, the phone also comes with premium hardware features, including the Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and Exmor RS for mobile BSI image sensor. It also includes support for 4G LTE high-speed mobile data network.

Sony’s mid-range SP is boosted by a dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 Pro 1.7GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. Its 4.6-inch 720p HD Reality Display features Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 for better viewing experience, while the 8 Megapixel camera users Exmor RS for mobile BSI sensor and offers 1080p Full HD video, fast-capture, HDR and Superior Auto functions. A VGA front-facing camera is good for video chat. For connectivity, the phone supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS, MHL video output and NFC for one-touch sharing. DLNA and Miracast are also included for wireless media streaming. 8GB of internal storage is provided and the microSD card slot supports up to 32GB.
