Ufone presents the tribute to the Indo Pak 1965 War Hero, MM Alam. He died on Monday morning dated 18 March, 2013. He died in the age of 78. He was so ill from many years.
Air Commodore Muhammad Mahmood Alamwas a fighter ace and a pilot par excellence. On the 7th of September, 1965, the (then) Squadron Leader downed 5 Indian fighter planes; the first four in a mere 30 seconds, a record that stands to this day. For this display of heroics and courage in the line of duty, he was awarded the Sitara-e-Jurat. The world will never forget Air Commodore M.M. Alam, his day of ultimate glory and his undying loyalty and love towards his country.
