Telenor Pakistan has recently won the Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS) Awards 2014 for its ‘Customer First Day’ campaign in the ‘Best in Digital’ category. This year two campaigns of Telenor Pakistan were nominated in the prestigious PAS Award 2014.
The innovative campaign was first-of-its-kind initiative in Pakistan, where Lars Christian Iuel, CEO, Telenor Pakistan directly took over to social networking sites (Facebook and Twitter) and interacted with the customers. The Twitter hashtags for the campaign – #TelenorCares and #Customerfirst2013 – also dominated the Twitter trends in Pakistan and were the highest trending in Pakistan within an hour into the activity, turning the campaign into a success story. The campaign also included a bloggers interactive session in which eight renowned bloggers engaged with the CEO directly.

The star-studded gala, held at Karachi Expo Centre on May 18, 2014, is annually organized by the Pakistan Advertisers Society to acknowledge and reward the most effective communication advertising campaigns in Pakistan. PAS announced awards in a total of 34 different categories in which Telenor Pakistan was the only winner in the ‘Best in Digital’ category.
Telenor Pakistan has been winning PAS Awards since past three years, making this the fourth consecutive time to outshine at the stellar event.
