Lamudi.PK is lending its support to victims of Operation Zarb-e-Azb by donating household goods and food supplies to support more than 120 families.

Lamudi is donating a substantial amount of funds to buy goods for the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the conflict.

These goods include: 10 kg of wheat, 1kg of pulses, 1kg of rice, bars of soap, bottles of mospel to help guard against dengue fever, 1kg oil and powdered milk cartons.

The donated goods were packed in boxes and delivered to the army camp in Fortress Stadium, Lahore. This process ensured that the goods were delivered directly to victims.

Saad Arshed, Country Director of Lamudi.pk, said, “We stand with the rest of the country during these hard times. On the occasion of Eid, local businesses like Lamudi have an obligation to help their brothers and sisters who have been displaced by the military operation. Lamudi.pk staff wanted to do everything they could to help the victims of these hardships. ”

Operation Zarb-e-Azb is a military offensive operation against the militant insurgent groups in Pakistan. It was launched by the Pakistan Armed Forces on 15 June, 2014 and up to 30,000 soldiers are involved in the operation which aims to flush out the militants from North Waziristan.

Lamudi has also been carrying out other CSR activities in the past such as donating money to NGO’s like SOS and Care Foundation.
