Cons:
- Although it has great coverage that is expanding rapidly, but in some locations around the world it may not be available
- Still have to purchase wireless modem or pay rent for one at reasonable rate
- Packet switching infrastructure
- Although it has great connectivity, but it is still in formative stage and can result in bugs
- Higher data billing due to large consumption
Overall, companies choose networks depending on their requirements. It also depends on which mobile device they use. Both 3G and 4G networks provide speed and quality on most mobile devices.
