Disruptive Technology is an innovation that disrupts an existing market, improve a product or service in ways that market does not expect, typically by reducing cost, increasing revenue, transforming business processes and developing new customer expectations. Mr. Jason shared 10 breakthrough technologies of 2015 and some of the areas in which the disruptive technology has played a significant role include Internet of Things, Big Data, Mobile Internet, Smart Phones, Social Networking and Cloud Computing.
The session equipped PTCL employees and organization as a whole to stay abreast with the ground breaking technological insights and sustain the technological leadership of PTCL through integration of latest Disruptive Technology Trends.
“PTCL is one of the frontrunners of innovation and continues to strive always on the lookout for new and challenging ways in which it can satisfy its customers,” stated Syed Mazhar Hussain, CHRO PTCL. “Through this seminar, we will be able to determine the various areas which we can capitalize on with the help of our available resources as well as establish other avenues in which we can enhance our technological arm for the benefit of society.”
