Mobicash’s recently announced service, ‘Passport Fee Collection’, has been initiated in Rawalpindi & Islamabad as a pilot. Mobilink is the first telco to partner with National Bank of Pakistan and Directorate General of Immigration & Passports for payment of Passport fee through MFS. The service allows customers to pay their passport fees by visiting the nearest Mobicash agent or by using their Mobicash Mobile Accounts.
Aniqa Afzal Sandhu, Head of Mobile Financial Services – Mobilink commenting on the launch of the service said, “The Passport Fee Collection service is now active in Rawalpindi & Islamabad. Citizens of Pakistan can now simply deposit their passport fees with our largest network of agents. Special acknowledgement goes out to Directorate General of Immigration & Passports and National Bank of Pakistan for their support in the implementation of this unique service.”
This service will be expanded nationwide by March. To utilize this service, mobile account users can simply dial *786# or visit the nearest Mobicash Agents. Following fee deposit, customers can visit the regional passport office along with their CNIC for further processing. Service charges of PKR 100 per passport are applicable.
