Cheezmall.com and ACCA went into an MOU signing ceremony this Friday at Royal Palm. The ceremony held in the vicinity of Punjab’s heart Lahore and also attended by elite and executive class from both end and as well as the industry analysts.

On his interview exclusively to Express NEWS, Mr. Wang (Co-Founder Cheezmall.com) talked about some challenges and opportunities in Pakistan. On express news, he expressed that although we are facing some problem with some government institutes and their rigidity but we also admire their love for Chinese people. He also stated that being the first investment in e-Commerce after Pak-China Economic Corridor, he is announcing his further million-dollar investment project in Pakistan which would soon start by the end of this month.
On this occasion, one of top 5 e-Commerce tycoon in Pakistan and current CEO Mr. Aurangzeb Khan expressed his believe in e-commerce industry and how it is flourishing. He shared some experience that how it developed in the past in China and how they plan to bring the similar changes into Pakistan in order to boost e-Commerce industry.
He further stated that how this industry alone can bring some drastically changes in GDP growth of Pakistan.
HE EXPLAINED BY TELLING THAT CYBER MONDAY WAS THE BIGGEST ONLINE EVENT IN THE WORLD BY 2014WITH GROSS TURNOVER OF 1.3 BILLION DOLLARS. BUT IN 2015, HOW CHINESE WRITE THE HISTORY IN DOUBLE ELEVEN WHEN THEY CROSSED ONE DAY e-COMMERCE SALE GREATER THEN 13.8 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH IS 1/3RD OF PAKISTAN’S WHOLE EXPORTS.
Speaking with the Media Channel on interview, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan stated that e-Commerce industry in Pakistan has tremendous potential but right now it lacks the right direction. Chinese model has something in it which is grabbing exponential growth every year. Even 2015sales of ALIBABA was 60% greater than sales of Double Eleven in 2014.
Mr. Sajeed, Head of ACCA expressed that through this collaboration, we would be able to drive the essence of e-Commerce and Online Shopping inside the students and they would be in better position to drive e-Commerce in Pakistan. He further stated that platforms and investment like Cheezmall.com would help Pakistan a lot in establishing its GDP.
In the end of ceremony, as a token of thanks ACCA officials announced that this collaboration should be followed in future too and Cheezmall.com is the true hope for e-Commerce and Online Shopping in Pakistan.
