In its continuous efforts to curb illegal gray trafficking, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in coordination with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), carried out a successful raid against grey operators.
The raid was conducted at Nishtar Colony, Lahore. 8 illegal gateways, 32 ports x 1, 2 TP Link Routers, 3 internet devices, 2 internet USB, 2 laptops along with other allied equipment including approximately 2000 SIMs were confiscated. Two persons were arrested from the scene.
The successful raids against the grey operators were made possible because of continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts by PTA in curbing the menace of grey traffic.
