To celebrate the Independence Day in its true essence, SCO is organizing a tree plantation drive to encounter the threats that are posed by increasing phenomenon of global warming in AJ&K and GB regions. The campaign will be led by SCO brand ambassadors Ms. Samina Baig famous mountaineer in GB and Ms. Maryam Mujtaba, first female commercial pilot in AJ&K. SCO through this drive bolstered their focus on creating awareness and a sense of responsibility among society for preserving and nurturing the environment. Last year, over a million trees, were planted under “Sarsabz-O-Shadab” campaign in AJ&K and GB regions.
Freedom of Internet for Students:
SCO is also providing internet facilities to AJ&K and GB students with complete freedom. In this regard, 13 community centers have been established in a short span of time in main districts of AJ&K and GB. In these centers, SCO is providing high-speed internet FREE of cost to students for online classes and submission of assignments.
